Met a girlfriend for brunch today at The Sage Mule. We’ve been eyeing this spot and drooling over all their posts on IG, for quite sometime now. Let me just say, it did NOT disappoint.
The Sage Mule is a delightful Greensboro spot on Battleground Ave. It’s clean, friendly staffed and has a large & delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch menu. All the goods are made in-house.
This morning I tried the Breakfast Burrito in a bowl. I don’t do pork, so I requested a meatless option in place of the sausage. I was told they could sub out with the Impossible Meat “sausage”. It’s not on their menu YET, but I’m guessing it will be soon enough. It was so yummy!!!
Scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage, mule fries, black beans and some yummy drizzles.
I was torn between many of their options, but the Greek Chicken Salad was screaming at me. So, I got that to go for dinner.
It was suggested to me to try this on their wheat bread and add cucumber, so, I did.
Shut the front door, slap yo’ Mama (don’t really slap her) good!!! Definitely a must try, definitely!!
Had to try some sweets, too! The Orange Ginger Cheesecake, was light and not overpoweringly sweet. The perfect mix of flavors with the orange and ginger, it will make your tastebuds dance.
The Snicker-Snap is a mix of a Snickerdoodle & a Gingersnap. Thick, chewy and OH, so good!
The Chocolate Chip was delicious, too!!
Already looking forward to my next visit in. SO many options, you’ll have a hard time deciding what to try. The staff made it a pleasant visit and were happy to answer any questions we had and let us know all about their favorites. Highly recommend checking this gem out.
